Barbiecore has officially taken over home decor and exterior design thanks to Greta Gerwig's Barbie readaptation. This summer, pink houses are all the latest craze. The upcoming movie has sparked a trend among homeowners to create their very own Barbie DreamHouse, primarily from a hot pink color palette. While the film does not head to theaters until July 21, fans will have the opportunity to enter for a chance to stay in the Barbie DreamHouse in sunny Malibu, hosted by Hollywood heartthrob Ryan Gosling. Beginning on July 17 at 10:00 am PST, everyone in BarbieLand can enter their requests to stay in the pink house of their childhood dreams, but only two fabulous winners will be selected to live out their Barbie fantasies for two nights on the weekend of July 22. The best part? Their stay will be completely free of charge. Barbiecore has become this summer's newest architectural trend, and Ken cannot wait to open up his fuschia doors to the public.
However, the Barbie DreamHouse is not the only pink house deserving of mention this summer. The Barbie film has served as a catalyst for exterior redesign across the world, and Barbie pink may just become the color of the season. To help you create your own DreamHouse, L'OFFICIEL compiled a list of our favorite pink houses to inspire your next home renovation.
