The hot pink and dreamy world of Barbie Land may be the genius creation of director Greta Gerwig, but actress Margot Robbie has proven that the glamorous and fun aesthetic of the movie can cross into the real world just like Barbie does herself. With the help of her stylist, Andrew Mukamal, Robbie brought the world of Barbie to life as the cast heads on their press tour prior to the release of the film.

From directly referencing the Mattel dolls to emulating the unmistakably pink styles Barbie would definitely beg Ken to buy for her, Robbie’s looks are some of the best promo for the movie. Barbie may be president, she may be a doctor, and she may be a Nobel laureate and published author, but what she will always be first is a fashion icon. After a string of pink or sequin Barbie looks, Robbie opted for a more casual vibe. Inspired by the "Cherry Pie Picnic Barbie" that was released in 2015, Robbie attended a panel at the Deadline Contenders Film event in Los Angeles. She donned a full Bottega Veneta ensemble: a cherry-printed shirt, dark-wash jeans, and a red bucket bag.

At the London premiere, Robbie wore a light pink satin gown and accessorized with a pearl necklace. Styled by Mukamal, this custom Vivienne Westwood recreated the "Enchanted Evening Barbie," which was first released in 1960. They certainly spared no detail — and that included the rosette, draped train, and white opera gloves.

A lot of the Barbie costumes that weren't made by costume designer Jacqueline Durran and her team come from the Chanel archives.
