L'OFFICIEL EXCLUSIVE: Zendaya and Tom Holland Are Adopting a Dog Together
The Spider-Man stars are reportedly now parents to a pit bull named Pistachio.
Zendaya and Tom Holland have taken their relationship to the next level.
According to a source, the couple is currently in New York City adopting a dog together. An insider involved with the adoption told L'OFFICIEL that their new pup is a pitbull named Pistachio.
While this is the couple's first dog together, both Zendaya and Holland are already noted dog lovers. The Euphoria star currently owns a Schnauzer named Noon, while the Uncharted actor has a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Tessa.
The Spider-Man co-stars have been romantically linked since 2017, but they have been notoriously closed-lipped about their relationship status. When photos surfaced in July 2021 of them leaving Zendaya's house and kissing in the car, Tomdaya fans when elated to have solid evidence of their romance. Shortly thereafter, they attended a wedding together and were photographed holding hands.
Though the couple has yet to openly confirm their relationship status (despite numerous opportunities over the course of the Spider-Man: No Way Home press run), Holland did address the paparazzi photos of them kissing in an interview with GQ, saying, "One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn’t really in our control anymore, and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world."
When asked if the issue was a matter of not being ready to speak on the subject, Holland replied, "I don’t think it’s about not being ready. It’s just that we didn’t want to."
Since then, the couple has been slightly less shy about being in a public relationship. The two have been seen together lately in Boston where Zendaya just finished filming her upcoming movie Challengers.
The actress also posted a sweet birthday message for her boyfriend on Instagram, writing, "Happiest of birthdays to the one who makes me the happiest <3."
