As headlines surged with dating rumors and "seemingly ranch" spotting in the fall, Swifties and Kelce fans alike can't seem to get enough. After mourning the loss of her six-year uber-private relationship with Joe Alwyn, Swift and the Swifties seem to be embracing this new relationship. Fans think this relationship might just be the real deal, and are rooting for Kelce to become Swift's future husband.

Swift's lucky 13th "boyfriend" has jumped full force into Swift's fandom by making her a friendship bracelet, sporting a 1989 outfit, and somehow perfectly fitting into "Mary's Song (Oh My My My): "I'll be 87, you'll be 89," she sings. The football player, also born in 1989, jersey number just happens to be 87. Perhaps that's what some people would call fate.

The world finally seems to have found some equilibrium again with Swift's return to public relationships. It's almost like we're back in 2016, watching Tom Hiddleston, then Swift's boyfriend, wearing an "I Heart TS" shirt as photos drop in real-time. And with a romance-filled public appearance almost every week, we're all here for it. After all, we're all just rooting for our favorite pop-star to be happy.

After attending Swift's Eras Tour in Kansas City, Missouri on July 8, Kelce revealed that he tried to give her a friendship bracelet at his show but wasn't able to get it to her. "I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it," he said in an episode of his New Heights podcast. The internet roared after this comment, and the rumor mill began.

In an interview posted on September 14, an NFL network host, Andrew Siciliano, asked Kelce about the dating rumors that began circulating after the friendship bracelet debacle. "I said what I said. And I meant what I said when I said it. And you know what, it is what it is,” Kelce revealed. He quickly followed up: “I’m not gonna talk about my personal life.” But everything seemed to change just a few weeks later.

Jason Kelce, Travis Kelce's brother and Philadelphia Eagles player, also said in an interview on September 14, “I’ve seen these rumors. I cannot comment." 

After this minuscule shred of confirmation, NFL announcer Ian Eagle ran with it. Taylor Swift-inspired jokes infiltrated sports talk as Eagle threw out the now-famous one-liner, “Kelce finds a blank space for the score!”

And so the pun challenge begins. Another sports commentator, Rich Eisen, outdid Eagle. In an attempt to work as many Swift song titles into his commentary, Eisen mentioned "Delicate," "Shake It Off," "All Too Well," and "Anti-Hero" just to name a few. The bachelor himself commented "Well played Rich…. Well played," sending sports and pop-culture fans into a frenzy. 

The frenzy only worsened on September 20, when Jason Kelce nearly confirmed the celebrity couple. "It’s hard to answer because I don’t really know a lot about Travis’s love life," Jason Kelce said on a SportsRadio 94 WIP broadcast. "I think it’s all 100% true, and I hope this thing goes a mile." Almost as quickly as he confirmed it, he backpedaled. "No, I’m joking, I don’t know what’s happening." 

While this brotherly joke may not have held any weight at the time, there may have been a shred of truth to it. Seemingly, neither Kelce brother would want to confirm the relationship, lest Travis and Taylor break up before their relationship even got off the ground.

With his award-winning smile and a few chuckles, Kelce gave his most candid response on The Pat McAfee Show. He admitted that "the ball is in her court."

"I told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage at Arrowhead. You might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one’s a little more lit.’ So we’ll see what happens in the near future." 

Once Kelce confirmed that he invited Swift to a game, the internet, and Swifties in particular, went wild predicting when she might show up. 

Everything really changed on September 24 when Swift made an appearance at Arrowhead Stadium in Kelce's box seats. Alongside Kelce's mom and some friends, Swift turned into a major Chiefs fan for the night, decked out in all-red exclusive Chiefs merch. Her "red lip classic" fit the dress code exquisitely. It's funny how quickly Swift accepted Kelce's invitation, but the whole world seemed to cheer on Swift even more than Kelce. 

The Chiefs players looked up with starstruck grins on their faces, and Kelce himself did the same with an extra twinkle in his eyes. Cameras filmed Swift's every reaction to plays and one time caught her yelling, "Let's fucking go." Nearly every photo and video clip went viral. 

A source told People, "Taylor is very focused on work right now and hanging out with her girlfriends. Travis invited her to the game, and of course she said 'yes,'" the source said. "She just thought it was a fantastic way to spend Sunday."

Perhaps this appearance didn't confirm anything, but many fans held onto the rumors of the two being all over each other after the game. 

The world waited in anticipation for Jason and Travis Kelce's weekly podcast episode, released on September 27. And Travis Kelce delivered. "Shout-out to Taylor for pulling up. That was pretty ballsy," he said as Jason Kelce laughed. "I just thought it was awesome how everyone in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her," he said sincerely. "She looked amazing. Everybody was talking about her in great light." 

“To see the slow-motion chest bumps, to see the high fives with Mom. To see how Chiefs kingdom was all excited that she was there, that shit was absolutely hysterical and it was definitely a game I’ll remember that’s for damn sure. And then we just slid off in the getaway car at the end.”

By this point, all Swifties were looking for a clue that Kelce and Swift were officially together, and would be public with their relationship. Even though it was still in the early stages and there was still a chance a Travis and Taylor break up could happen, as she was in the midst of a demanding world tour, and he was on the road to the Superbowl, all Swifties were rooting for this relationship.

Swift showed up again at the next Chiefs game on October 1. This time, Swift dressed in a black shirt and jeans as she paraded in a long list of celebrity guests, including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sophie Turner, Sabrina Carpenter, and Hugh Jackman (as well as her brother Austin Swift). Just as before, the cameras couldn't stop turning to her gushing at her rumored boyfriend. "Look at him," she was seen saying. 

After the NFL focused cameras on Swift, changed their social media handles now referencing her, and added Eras Tour movie promo, Jason Kelce asked in their October 4 New Heights podcast episode, "Is the NFL overdoing it." Travis Kelce admitted, "They're overdoing it a little bit. I think they're just trying to have fun with it."

Despite the level of media coverage, Travis Kelce appears to be embracing it — at least for now. 

Kelce's mother, Donna, breaks her silence as she comments on the rumored relationship between her son and Swift. When asked how it was hanging out with Swift at the game during an interview on the Today show, she responded, "It was ok."

“I don’t like to talk about it. It’s just one of those things where everyone saw me,” she continued. “I was in the boxes with her. It’s another thing that’s amped up my life.”

After cheering for Kelce in his against the Denver Broncos, Swift seemingly spent the night at his house according to photos obtained by the Daily Mail. While no photos of her can be seen, her security vehicles were photographed on the curbside of Kelce's home, making it seem the Swift and boyfriend Kelce were spending much-needed time together.

On Saturday, Kelce and Swift hard launched their relationship as they were photographed holding hands. That night they also had a surprise cameo on SNL as Swift introduced Ice Spice as the special celebrity guest, and Kelce was spotted backstage.

Their relationship goes international as Kelce joins Swift in Argentina. The pop singer was there for her Eras Tour, though she reportedly postponed it due to heavy rainfall. Swift and Kelce were spotted enjoying a private dinner at Elena restaurant, located in the Four Seasons Hotel, followed by a late-night stroll walking hand-in-hand.

While performing at her concert in Argentina, Swift noticeably tweaked one of the lyrics in "Karma" as a sweet gesture to Kelce. Swift switched up the lyrics singing, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me," in which Kelce is spotted with a huge grin. Moments later, Kelce and Swift finally have their first public kiss as Swift is spotted running backstage and planting a kiss on him. 

Kelce opened up about his relationship with Swift in The Wall Street Journal, as he graced the cover of the magazine. We learned that they had been dating for awhile before stepping out in front of the paparazzi, and had some inside help with setting the two up. 

"There were definitely people she knew that knew who I was, in her corner [who said]: Yo! Did you know he was coming? I had somebody playing Cupid," he told WSJ. 

As Swift was proclaimed as TIME Magazine's Person of the Year, she opened up about her career, future, and obviously Kelce. 

“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she told the publication. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”

The couple was spotted in Kansas City celebrating New Year's Eve at what seemed to be a lively party function, with those in attendance gushing over the two, saying they couldn't get enough of each other. 

The whole internet went insane after the Chiefs secured their sport for the SuperBowl LVIII. Swift quickly joined Kelce on the field to celebrate, sparking every single angle and audio of their interaction. 

"I've never seen anything like that in my life," Swift said as she embraced Kelce after the game. 

Although it was a close game, The Chiefs came out on top as SuperBowl champs with a victorious win, and even better celebration. Swift joined him on the field again with what seemed to be hundreds of cameras following suit. 

"Thank you for making it halfway across the world," Kelce said with a laugh as the two embraced each other after the win. It was a controversial hot topic across the web to see if Taylor would be able to make it to the game in time as she had a show in Japan the day before, but Swift always finds a way to show up for Kelce. 

Swift sent her fans into a complete frenzy as she posted a TikTok of her at a club with not only her parents by her side, but Kelce there as well. Travis Kelce was spotted wearing a bracelet dedicated to his relationship with Taylor Swift. The adorable bracelet read: "T <3 T." Their relationship has seriously gotten more PDA-packed. Now before you get any ideas, the reason why Kelce was so emotional in the photo had nothing to do with his relationship with Swift. It was actually because his brother, Jason Kelce, was announcing his retirement from the NFL. 

After a slew of PDA-filled appearances, Kelce and Swift kept things under-the-radar for a few weeks, reportedly spending most of their time at home, as Us Weekly reported. However, that didn't last very long, as the couple was spotted packing in the romance on vacation in the Bahamas. Later on, an insider source told People that the getaway was a "much-needed break for both of them." "They very much enjoyed it. They are so happy together," the insider added.
