The two first sparked dating rumors in December 2023 when Selena Gomez posted a story on Instagram promoting Benny Blanco's new cookbook. "One of my favs releasing a cook book," Gomez wrote in the post. Of course, leave it up to loyal Selenators to catch on to their idol's new relationship before everyone else.&nbsp;
It didn't take long for the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/celebrity-guest-stars-only-murders-in-the-building-hulu-tv-show" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Only Murders in the Building</a> star to put rumors to bed by leaving a string of comments on different Instagram posts speculating on her love life. In a now-deleted Instagram post, Gomez commented, "He is my absolute everything in my heart." Additionally, in another Instagram post, she stated that she and Blanco had been dating for six months at the time.

Then, in January, Gomez took her new boyfriend as her date to the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/2024-golden-globes-red-carpet-best-looks" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2024 Golden Globes</a>. The couple did not walk the red carpet together, but Gomez later posted a couple of cheeky photos of them kissing sometime during the night. After spending some time apart doing long distance, the two are finally reunited again.
