Selena Gomez is Officially Blonde Again
The last time Selena Gomez had lighter locks was in 2017, but then she went for a more ashen shade and darker roots. In February, she revealed on Instagram live that she was willing to dye her hair blonde again. But who would have thought that Blondlena would be back so soon? The change comes shortly after she finished filming her upcoming Hulu series Only Murders in the Building, in which she plays a true crime-obsessed apartment dweller who teams up with two neighbors (Steve Martin and Martin Short) to investigate a murder in their own building.
It took hairdressers Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri from Nine Zero One Salon, more than eight hours, and over 200 foils to bring her dark brown locks to this blonde color, but the result is impressive.
The 28-year-old revealed her new look on Rare Beauty's Instagram account. The blonde locks with perfectly shaded roots are perfect for the summer and combined with a few basics from her makeup brand, it will no doubt inspire her 222 million IG followers to follow in her footsteps.
