Lady Gaga is the New Face of Dom Pérignon
Prestigious French champagne house Dom Pérignon and pop singer Lady Gaga collaborate on a new artistic project and limited-edition champagne.
Last December, Lady Gaga created a stir in the snack food industry with bright pink, limited-edition Chromatica-themed Oreos with a green creme filling. Now, the pop superstar is back, this time teaming up with prestigious French champagne house Moët & Chandon for a creative collaboration that sees Gaga as the new face of limited-edition Dom Pérignon champagne bottles.
On Wednesday morning, the American singer announced the latest partnership in an Instagram video and promotional image in which Gaga holds a 2006 vintage sparkling rosé in a deep purple-tinted bottle. "Their tradition is centuries old, but they push their own boundaries and find ways to reinvent themselves completely," Gaga says in the Instagram video announcement. "And I am thrilled that we will be able to celebrate this together."
Gaga also teases an upcoming film for the official announcement, which was made in collaboration with artist Nick Knight and is set to debut on April 6. According to a rep for Dom Pérignon, details on when and where you can buy the new limited-edition champagne bottles will be released in the coming months. To commemorate the collaboration, Dom Pérignon will also be contributing to Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation.
