It's that time of year again, students are returning to campus, and a new school year is just beginning. Greek Life is in full swing and with that means Rush TikTok is back! For the past couple of years right around this time of month we have seen the happenings of Greek Life Rush all over the US. "Rush," a multi-day event where "pledges" try to gain membership in sororities or fraternities, the craze took over social media feeds with OOTD videos, insight into the process, and lots of anticipation. With videos tagged "RushTok" totaling over 130 million views, Greek Life content has taken over social media feeds.

Showing off preppy outfits, jewelry from sorority-favorite Kendra Scott, and the trials and tribulations of rush, students gave insight into famed organizations that many would not have gained access to otherwise.

Originating in 1882 at Syracuse University, Greek Life began as a way for students to bond and create connections—the word sorority comes from the Latin word "soror" meaning sister. In the following years, organizations expanded throughout universities across the United States. The Divine Nine—a group of nine historically Black Greek organizations—was started in 1929 and still remains a force throughout the country in the modern day.

While social media as a whole is learning more about the elusive process, fraternities, and sororities have welcomed dozens of notable celebrities, politicians, and artists. Whether it be Alicia Keys at Alpha Kappa Alpha or Meghan Markle and Kappa Kappa Gamma, these celebrities undoubtedly embraced the beauties of Greek Life. Below, see all the celebrities you didn't know were in Greek Life.
