Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's Relationship Timeline

Since making their relationship public in 2021, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have completely taken over our social media feeds, and we’re not mad about it. The seemingly unlikely duo have been friends for years, both living in the same gated community in Calabasas and attending church services at Hillsong, the international megachurch known for its prominent attendees which have included the entire Kar-Jenner clan and Justin and Hailey Bieber. 

While the pair have been spotted together on occasional outings since 2017, it appears it wasn’t until recently that the relationship between the KUWTK alum and Blink 182 lead drummer evolved into more than just a platonic friendship. Upon the couple’s debut (and their steady stream of PDA-filled appearances that have followed), many have remarked that after a series of unsuccessful high-profile relationships, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star looks happier than ever. In fact, both Kardashian and Barker frequently take to social media to shower each other with heartfelt sentiments and appreciation for one another. 

It’s safe to say that for these two, love is definitely in the air. To keep you up to speed on the progression of the endearing couple’s relationship, L’OFFICIEL has put together a comprehensive relationship timeline.

Amidst the circulating dating speculation, Us Weekly comes forward and confirms the pair are a couple, with an insider source stating to them, "Travis is very smitten with Kourtney and has been for a while." The source continued, “Kourtney and Travis are officially a couple. They have been close friends for years and have been dating for a couple months."

The pair discreetly hint they’ve spent Valentine’s Day together, uploading flicks of the same fireplace to their Instagram stories that night.

Two days after Valentine's Day, the pair made it Instagram official, with Kardashian posting a photo of her and Barker's interlocked hands to her main feed. Although there was no tag, the drummer's tattooed hand was unmistakable. 

In an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Talk Show, Barker shed light on his relationship with the reality star, stating that the success of their relationship comes down to their shared maturity. He shared, "Up until now, I would date girls who didn't have kids, and I find it kind of hard, because I think they would have trouble understanding, like 'Why don't you want to go to dinner every night with me? Or why don't you want to see me every night?'" he continued, "And now, I'm spending time with a woman who's a great mom, who's a great friend, and you don't have to worry about any of those things. It just comes natural. It's a maturity thing."

In March, Barker uploaded a video of him getting the words, "You're so cool!" tatted on his arm, seemingly in reference to a comment he left on a January 5th post of Kardashian's, in which she uploaded stills from the movie True Romance. The film is one of Barker's favorites. He and his first wife Shanna Moakler had a True Romance-themed wedding and even named their daughter Alabama after the movie's protagonist. 

The pair went to see the Miocic vs. Ngannou 2 UFC fight live in Nevada along with the public's other favorite edgy couple, Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox.

When your man tells you he loves you, you like to hope he's saying it with his chest. In this instance, Barker seems to have taken that sentiment in the most literal (and adorable) way possible.

Barker proved he's not afraid to shout his love for Kardashian from the rooftops, posting a PDA-filled gallery to Instagram captioned, "I F*CKING LOVE YOU! 🖤YOU’RE A BLESSING TO THIS WORLD HAPPY BIRTHDAY."

At this point, public photos of Barker and Kardashian kissing are less of relationship milestones than they are a reliable weekly occurrence. However, the exotic change in scenery in the Poosh founder's April upload counts for something, right?

The drummer posted a video on his Instagram feed of the pair playing piano together that his daughter Alabama had taken and uploaded to her story earlier that day. Alabama endearingly captioned the clip, “This is what I come home to.” 

Kardashian's daughter Penelope Disick received a pink and white drum set from her mom's boyfriend for her ninth birthday. Yeah, Barker is definitely the cool stepdad. 

The pair were as hot and heavy as ever as they leaned in (tongue first, may we mention) for an on-camera kiss during a July UFC match. 

Barker and Kardashian made their official red carpet debut as a couple at the VMAs. Tongue, leather, and spikes galore. 

Beachside in Montecito, Barker popped the question. This will be the first time Kardashian will be walking down the aisle, and it is no small feat! Surrounded by an elaborate array of red roses, the couple sealed their engagement with a kiss (and a $1 million ring) and an Instagram photo, or four. Or five. 

During the wee hours after the Grammys, Barker and Kardashian tied the knot in a Las Vegas chapel, by an Elvis Presley impersonator no less! Although fans were hoping to see an extravagant wedding play out on their upcoming Hulu show, it is reported that this is the first in a line of many upcoming wedding festivities. 

While the two tried to tie the knot in Vegas, they were unable to obtain a marriage license. Therefore, their Vegas ceremony was not legally binding. A month later, with Kardashian's grandma, MJ, and Travis Barker's dad in attendance, the two legally tied the knot in a small ceremony in Santa Barbara. To mark the joyous occasion, the two shared a carousel of black and white images on their feeds.

A few months later, in July, Kardashian shared never-before-seen courthouse wedding photos on Instagram for MJ's birthday. In the post, she wrote, "My special, sweet, chic, sophisticated, smart and most wonderful grandmother. Happy birthday my MJ ❤️ so happy you could be one of the only two guests we had when we were legally married, I will always remember this day and night with you."  

In their final wedding celebration, Barker and Kardashian tied the knot in Portofino, Italy with their families. All decked out in Dolce & Gabbana, the brand sponsored the luxurious wedding. 

Barker was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday morning with Kardashian by his side. While the reason for his sudden hospitalization was not immediately clear, he tweeted "God save me" during the scare. 

On Wednesday, TMZ reported that Barker was being treated for pancreatitis caused by what his doctors believe was a recent colonoscopy.

Over the summer, the newlyweds take the entire family out for a trip to the lake. Barker and Kardashian both post Instagram stories of themselves and their children having fun on a secluded outing lakeside. It seems like the duo is already creating family memories to last a lifetime. 

For Halloween, the couple celebrates by dressing up as Chucky and the Bride of Chucky to get into the spooky spirit of the holiday.

Following Kourtney's rockstar pregnancy announcement, the couple shared an Instagram video revealing the gender of their baby. Barker gave a drumroll while Kardashian sat on his lap, and blue streamers erupted to announce that they are expecting a baby boy together.
