Britney Spears Marries Sam Asghari
Despite her ex-husband Jason Alexander crashing the event, Britney Spears has finally married her long-time boyfriend Sam Asghari.
It happened on a Thursday—the wedding of Britney Spears and Sam Asghari. The intimate ceremony was attended by around 60 people, including guests such as Drew Barrymore, Madonna, Paris Hilton, and Kathy Hilton. Sources told People that Britney walked down the aisle to Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love."
The couple met in 2016 on the set of the singer's music video for her song "Slumber Party." The pair got engaged in September 2021, while the wedding took place seven months after Spears' conservatorship was dissolved.
During the big ceremony, Spears wore a custom wedding dress designed by Donatella Versace, however, no photos of the bride have been released thus far. "I'm so ecstatic this day has come, and they're married. I know he's wanted this for so long. He's so caring and supportive every step of the way," stated a rep for Asghari.
Sean Preston and Jayden James, Britney's children with Kevin Federline, did not attend the wedding, according to Spears' lawyer, but they are very happy for their mother. Asghari is the singer's third husband, following her previous marriages to Jason Alexander and Federline.
In fact, the ceremony was marked by Alexander's unexpected arrival. He live-streamed his arrival at Spears' home on Instagram. The authorities were called and he was soon stopped outside the event, but said that he had been invited by the singer. Alexander was later arrested for trespassing.
