Last year, Britney Spears revealed that Donatella Versace would personally be designing her wedding dress.
Last year, Britney Spears told the world that she commissioned Donatella Versace to design her wedding dress for her upcoming nuptials to her longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari. Now, the designer has shared some exciting news about the singer's new life as they all approach her big day.
After traveling to Spears' house in Los Angeles, Versace revealed in a recent interview how the pop princess is following the end of her conservatorship. “She’s on vacation now,” Versace told Variety. “She’s doing well. I find her in an amazing state of mind. I know it’s been such a long time. I’m very happy to see her like that.”
Spears and Asghari have been dating since 2016. The couple got engaged in September 2021, and have been preparing for their nuptials since.
Since the dissolution of her conservatorship, Spears had been enjoying her freedom by frequently posting on Instagram and taking vacations with her fiancé. However, the singer has also been hard at work on her memoir. According to Page Six, Spears signed a $15 million deal with Simon & Schuster, one of the publication house's biggest contracts of all time.
When speaking about the book on Instagram, Spears said she has found the process "healing and therapeutic," adding that she would be taking an "intellectual approach" to her stories. Considering all that we know about her, and everything that has come to light just within the last two years, her book is sure to be one of the most anticipated celebrity memoirs in years.
