As an actor, producer, and musician, Brody rose to fame after his breakthrough role as Seth Cohen on <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/madison-bailey-netflix-outer-banks" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The O.C.</a>. During his early career, Brody appeared in iconic films like&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/phoebe-waller-bridge-donald-glover-mr-and-mrs-smith-reboot-brad-pitt-angelina-jolie" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mr. &amp; Mrs. Smith</a> alongside <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/angelina-jolie-sports-bag-of-the-season" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Angelina Jolie</a> and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/brad-pitt-dating-history-jennifer-aniston-angelina-jolie" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brad Pitt</a> and in&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/y2k-inspired-halloween-costumes-legally-blonde-high-school-musical" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jennifer's Body</a> alongside <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/megan-fox-sexiest-looks" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Megan Fox</a>.&nbsp;
Brody grew up in San Diego, California, where he spent his childhood in acting classes, surfing, and working on creative projects, ranging from scrapped screenplays to <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/best-zayn-songs-of-all-time-gigi-hadid-one-direction" target="_blank" rel="noopener">songs</a>.
Although he began his career working primarily in <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/andrew-scott-movies-tv-shows-fleabag-sherlock" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TV</a>, Cohen turned his attention to the silver screen following the wrap of&nbsp;The O.C., and in the past decade, has appeared in films ranging from the fast-paced thriller Ready or Not to blockbuster DC film&nbsp;Shazam!&nbsp;to beloved slasher flick&nbsp;Scream 5.&nbsp;
In 2010, while on the set of The Oranges, Brody met <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/gossip-girl-blair-waldorf-leighton-meester-reboot-2022" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Leighton Meester</a>, although you may know her better as Blair Waldorf from <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/every-gossip-girl-thanksgiving-episode" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Gossip Girl</a>, and the two began dating. In 2014, the couple married, and in 2015, the pair welcomed a daughter, Arlo Day. In 2020, the family expanded further, with the birth of the couple's second <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/biggest-celebrity-baby-news-of-2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">child</a>, a son whom neither parent has commented on publically.&nbsp;
