Having landed her first screen appearance as a pre-teen in the 1984 film Once Upon A Time In America, Jennifer Connelly's claim to fame could only be described as inevitable. Throughout the '90s she would go on to land quite the roundup of acting credits in films such as The Rocketeer, Of Love and Shadows, Far Harbor, Dark City, and Mulholland Falls. Connelly's breakthrough acting moments truly catapulted in the 2000s once she received critically rave reviews for her role as Marion Silver in the 2000 film Requiem for a Dream alongside Jared Leto. Not long afterward the actress won a BAFTA and Golden Globe Award for her portrayal of Alicia Nash in A Beautiful Mind.
From that point on Connelly had solidified herself as a Hollywood A-lister and has gone on to work alongside other big names in the industry including Leonardo DiCaprio, Ben Kingsley, Kate Winslet, Jennifer Aniston, Brendan Fraser, and Mark Ruffalo. Her decades-long career run hasn't shown any signs of slowing down, as she recently starred alongside Tom Cruise in the hit film Top Gun: Maverick.
Outside of acting, Connelly is the mother of three kids including Kai Dugan, 24, whom she shares with her ex, David Dugan, as well as Stellan, 19, and Agnes Bettany, 11, her children with husband Paul Bettany.
