Young Photos of Hugh Grant
Let's travel back in time to look at Hugh Grant through the years.
Hugh Grant is one of Hollywood's best-known actors for his roles as the endearing and funny love interest in some of the most iconic rom-coms of the '90s. 40 years ago, Grant made his cinematic debut in the 1982 film Privileged, a student production at the University of Oxford, where the actor also studied English Literature. From there, he went on to pursue small comedy gigs on television. Eventually, his acting resumé kept on growing after landing a role in the film Maurice, a film that gave him the recognition of the best-actor prize at the 1987 Venice Film Festival.
The major turning point in Grant's career was Four Weddings and a Funeral, the Oscar-nominated film that earned him a Golden Globe for Best Actor. The film, plus his highly publicized relationship with Elizabeth Hurley, catapulted Grant's career, and his sex symbol status, landing him roles in more romantic comedies that would go on to be iconic such as Notting Hill, Bridget Jones's Diary, Love, Actually, and more.
