Acne Studios launches a new chapter for Acne Paper, its shuttered editorial magazine, in the form of an Acne Paper tome. The multi-disciplinary editorial was published biannually from 2005 to 2014 and featured photography, art, and journalism. Highlights from the magazine's run find a new home in the book, including work from the likes of Fran Lebowitz, Tilda Swinton, Irving Penn, and countless others.

The Stockholm-based brand has always been on the cutting edge of the creative industry, reimagining both fashion and art with collaboration, sustainability, and storytelling at the forefront. As of late, the brand has placed an emphasis on utilizing upcycled and ethically sourced materials to create its utilitarian ready-to-wear. Now, Acne Studios is revisiting its artistic heritage with the Acne Paper book.

Compiled by Thomas Persson, the magazine's editor and creative director, the new edition highlights the magazine's illustrious archive alongside new contributions. Opening the book is artist Christopher Smith who has given his unique interpretation of Acne Paper's illustrious archive and previous editorial themes. Spanning 568 pages, the book is a minimalistic melange of culture, literature, and artistic interpretation.

Specifically, the magazine features interviews and contirbutions from a star-studded list of creatives and artists — Azzedine Alaïa, Kim Jones, David Bailey and countless others. Along with several of fashion and art's biggest names, the magazine features younger creatives like Roe Ethridge and Jamie Hawkesworth who are reshaping the future of the creative industry.

Coinciding with the release of Acne Paper, an exhibition featuring content from the book opens today, June 25, in Paris during Men's Fashion Week.
