All aboard the Staten Island Ferry, where Tommy Hilfiger brings a classic nautical theme with modern twists.&nbsp;

American designer <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/fashion/tommy-hilfiger-launches-the-2024-summer-essentials-campaign" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tommy Hilfiger </a>made waves at New York Fashion Week with his Spring/Summer 2025 collection, presenting a <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/fashion/nautical-stripes-summer-2021-trend-runway-style" target="_blank" rel="noopener">nautical-themed</a> show aboard the former Staten Island Ferry. Owned by comedians Colin Jost and Pete Davidson, the ferry offered the perfect setting for Hilfiger&rsquo;s breezy, ocean-inspired designs.
"The collection is inspired by nautical, so we wanted to do it either near the water or on a boat, and we found out the Staten Island Ferry was available," Hilfiger told L'OFFICIEL in an exclusive interview.&nbsp;
The collection merged traditional nautical elements with <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/tommy-hilfiger-fall-winter-2024-nyfw-show-runway-images" target="_blank" rel="noopener">modern silhouettes,</a> offering a fresh take on classic styles. Wide-leg trousers, oversized sweaters, flowy dresses, and <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/fashion/capri-pants-y2k-fashion-trend-beyonce-rihanna" target="_blank" rel="noopener">capris </a>dominated the runway, exuding a relaxed yet sophisticated vibe. Plaids and pinstripes were key features of the collection, keeping in line with the maritime theme.&nbsp;
&nbsp;<a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/fashion/tommy-hilfiger-usa-logo" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hilfiger&rsquo;s</a> signature color palette&mdash;red, white, and blue&mdash;made frequent appearances, but unexpected shades of grey and pink also appeared, giving the collection a playful twist.&nbsp;
Hilfiger broke down the collection with three simple phrases to L'OFFICIEL:&nbsp;"New fabrics, new shapes, and a modern twist for men and women."
Questlove curated the runway soundtrack, setting the tone for the show. The finale took a turn with a surprise performance by Wu-Tang Clan members Ghostface Killah, Method Man, and Raekwon, all Staten Island natives.&nbsp;
Colin Jost, who owns part of the ferry, was among the front-row favorites at the show. K-pop starlet Jisoo was in attendance, along with <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/wildest-pretty-little-liars-plot-twists" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Shay Mitchell</a>, <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/young-brooke-shields-80s-photos-calvin-klein" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Brooke Shields</a>, and <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/madelyn-cline-outer-banks-season-2-netflix-knives-out-2" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Madelyn Cline.</a>
