The curiosity about the Prada Men's Spring/Summer 2023 fashion show designed by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons started a few days before the show, with an invitation made of paper in the shape of an over-jacket shirt, a reference (or perhaps homage) to the artist Joseph Beuys, one of the first to create garments and works of art with unconventional fibers. Even Martin Margiela in the '90s used to use paper in his creations, as did the American brand Faye Toogood that created a jacket out of pages of the New York Times.

Prada Men's Spring/Summer 2023 collection paraded inside a full-fledged paper house: windows, floors, curtains, and even the show's stools bring us back to the importance of feeling at ease, in and out of familiar environments. The looks are "free" in their movements, wardrobe classics reduced to the essentials: short leather shorts, denim jumpsuits, tight ankle-length trousers, casual-formal suits, trench coats, fitted sweaters with stripes or color blocks, wide shirts without collars, cowboy boots, and futurist sneakers with iridescent inserts on a black base. The contrast between the lightness of the checked overcoats collides with the hardness of the skin, creating a different and hybrid identity.

Among the three protagonists of the Prada campaign, Jeff Goldblum, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Damson Idris, other stars like Rami Malek, Tyler Mitchell, Louis Partridge, Manu Rios, Filippo Scotti, Gabrielle Union, and Dwyane Wade were also in attendance at the show.
