This is the Chicest Iron You've Ever Seen

Meet Nori, the most important accessory your clothing needs.

From Net-A-Porter to Fifth Avenue, vintage collectors to all natural dry-cleaners, and just the right tailor, we spend years fashioning a perfectly-curated and cared-for wardrobe. So why do we still use the same, chunky post-collegiate iron that lives ubiquitously on Amazon? Historically, steaming and ironing options have been limited to mass-produced appliances that swap wrinkles for burn marks and water stains. But now a new brand, Nori, has a simple solution in a unique style you're sure to recognize.

The Nori Press; Co-founders Courtney Toll and Annabel Love
Inspired by a traditional hair straightener that flattens strands fed through a dual sided wand, Nori's just-launched press is the chicest iron you've ever seen. (Nori's Courtney Toll, in fact, smoothened her laundry through a DIY straightener method before co-founding the brand.) The minimal device mirrors the hair tool's form with front and back aluminum plating for dual ironing and a clamping mechanism that locks garments in place. No burn marks here!

To use, simply lay your laundered item on a flat surface and place the rumpled area between Nori's heated plates, applying pressure as you drag. The gliding motion immediately removes wrinkles and leaves your piece with a hand-pressed neatness that might fool even the professionals. The iron has six fabric settings and even features a steam reservoir for dual  controlled release. (Tip: the brand's companion steam solution, Fabric Facial, helps smoothen out stubborn wrinkles and adds a crisp deodorizing scent to your clothes.)

Aside from its features, perhaps the best part of Nori's press is that you'll be happy to have it in your home. Elegantly designed to be subtle yet still chic, the device follows lifestyle brands like July, Molekule, and Caraway, in bringing design and use together. At a time when our spaces have never had more attention, as Nori says, it's not your grandma's iron.
