Luxury fashion designers have entered a new market: interior decor. From Versace to Gucci to Dior, the world’s most recognized fashion houses have launched collections of home pieces ranging from decorative pillows, large area rugs, statement sofas, to much more. Recently, American designer Christian Siriano launched his first furniture collection with 1stdibs featuring lots of bouclé and minimalist finishes that transport us to our dream Pinterest board.

As it is with clothing, each designer remains true to their essence in their interior decor, adding unique details that embody their work. Although they reimagine classic pieces and appropriate them to their own style, it is almost inevitable to fall into trends—ultimately, it's what sells. Gold touches, velvet textures, and postmodern shapes are some of the many interior trends that designers are currently incorporating in their home lines.

Here, L’OFFICIEL rounds up the top trends to try from designer home lines, so you can make your home as chic as your wardrobe.

Filled with contemporary elements, Gucci’s home line is all about velvet. Whether mixed with impeccable embroidery or imprinted with the brand’s distinctive GG motif, Alessandro Michele has adapted traditional furniture with Gucci’s own style. From unique sectionals to individual accent chairs, the fashion house has designed home interiors perfect for maximalists with a nostalgic sentiment for retro style

Modern Bouclé

The American fashion designer’s newest collection features neutral colors, clean cut edges, and cream colored bouclé. It is ideal for modern yet playful spaces that look and feel luxurious. In his home pieces, Christian Siriano incorporates wooden touches and classic geometric shapes adding to the minimal modernity that many 21st century homeowners seek.

Dior's 2021 home collection titled Granville is an ode to the family’s villa garden in Normandy, Italy. With finely drawn florals the collection features exquisite botanical motifs perfect for those who wish to bring life into their home. This interior design trend has been a recurring one, making the fashion house's delicate homeware truly timeless.

Saint Laurent Rive Droit's latest collection takes inspiration from Italian visonary Ettore Sottsass' Mephis Group, known for its vibrant furnishings and interior design. While Anthony Vaccarello interprets the Memphis style on apparel, he also creates a number of postmodern-inpired home decor items including ashtrays, vases, plates, glasses, and other pieces to decorate your space with. Meanwhile, a number of the Memphis Group's work will be on display at Saint Laurent Rive Droite stores until June 23.
