If you've seen any coverage of the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, no doubt you've seen stunning looks from celebrities gracing the red carpet. However, one look in particular was a standout, coming from 29-year-old independent French artist Yseult.

Gracing the red carpet for the premiere of Francis Ford Coppola's Megalopolis, Yseult dressed head-to-toe in Dior, a custom couture reinterpretation of Dior’s iconic 1947 “New Look.” She wore the house’s signature Bar Jacket paired with a voluminous black pleated skirt.

Styled by Jonathan Huguet and accessorized with black gloves and a black straw hat by Stephen Jones Millinery, Yseult channeled the iconic Willy Maywald photograph that defined Dior’s groundbreaking debut collection.

Besides a clear fashion icon, who is Yseult? The rising star has several successful singles that challenge societal norms of body image and French classicism and has been recognized for her dedication and hard work.

L'OFFICIEL does a deep dive into everything you need to know about Yseult, since this won't be the last time you hear her name.
