Taylor Swift Breaks The Beatles' Record with 'Fearless (Taylor's Version)'
After losing the rights to her own songs, Taylor Swift is making her biggest comeback yet.
Taylor Swift is one of the greatest singers of her generation. At just 31 years old, she has already been nominated for 41 Grammys, and has taken 11 of the awards home herself. Unfortunately, due to an on-going legal dispute with her old record label Big Machine and Scooter Braun—the name behind the careers of Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande—she's having to re-record her past discography.
Now Swift is making a comeback: her re-release of Fearless reached number 1 in the UK on Friday, 16/04, her third album in first place in the country in the last 259 days following Folklore and Evermore. Previously, The Beatles held the record when they reached the first place with Help!, Rubber Soul, and Revolver in 364 days.
In addition, Swift placed more than five singles on the Billboard HOT 100 in a period of just one week, becoming the woman with the highest number of entries on this list—136.
