About Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly's Blood Obsession

Controversial lovers actress Megan Fox and musician Machine Gun Kelly seem to have a blood fixation. After Fox announced their engagement in a poetic Instagram post, she revealed that they “drank each other’s blood” as the romantic close to her acceptance of his proposal.

Yes, that's right. Drank. Each. Other's. Blood. Needless to say, this isn't a traditional engagement custom, but it's been clear since the beginning of their relationship that these two are anything but traditional.

In true early 2000’s Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton fashion, Fox also gave a blood vial necklace to her now-fiancé as a proclamation of love for Valentine's Day last year. “I wear your blood around my neck,” Kelly wrote in an Instagram caption.

He later explained that the memento was a way to cherish Fox's absence while she was away filming a movie. "Well, she was actually going out of town to film a movie," the "Bloody Valentine" singer said on The Ellen Degeneres Show. "Some people give, like, a handkerchief to their partner or whatever. She gave me her DNA."

Perhaps Fox’s role as a man-eating demon in Jennifer’s Body was the source of her real-life taste for blood or Kelly’s emo affinities. But more realistically, the couple just has a very intense bond. In an interview with Nylon, Fox said, “the intensity of merging with him is just overwhelming, and the threat it poses is so powerful but so beautiful.”

While fans are still left without an explanation for the blood-drinking comment (maybe it was a joke, maybe she was serious), it's clear that these two are bonded for life.
