Is Kourtney Kardashian Starting Her Own Reality TV Show?
Kourtney Kardashian is reportedly ready to separate from her sisters and have a spinoff show about her and Travis Barker.
The Kardashians may be down a sister in the near future.
Anonymous sources revealed to RadarOnline that Kourtney Kardashian is ready to "develop her own empire." The realization came after she held up a sign announcing her pregnancy at her husband Travis Barker's Blink 182 performance. Many were quick to point out that is a typical way a Kardashian would announce such a big life moment, but Kardashian is reportedly looking to do things on her own terms.
"It was very un-Kardashian for Kourtney to do that, but she's sick of them interfering with her life and wants to cut ties now," an insider said regarding the pregnancy reveal. "Kourtney has learned everything she possibly can from her mom, Kris Jenner, and from being on the show."
Another source continued, "She's just over the whole bitchiness and this warped need her sisters have to one-up each other — whether it's money, romance, dieting, or hanging out with the cool club. She loves them dearly but feels strongly this is something she's totally outgrown. It's time for a break, and Travis is backing her every step of the way!"
That said, Kardashian isn't leaving the reality TV show world behind entirely, rather she is looking to start her own spinoff series "that would revolve around her and Barker and the pregnancy."
The news comes after Kardashian's ongoing feud with her sister, Kim Kardashian, on the latest The Kardashians episode, in which Kardashian accused Kim that her Dolce & Gabanna collaborative collection bares a high resemblance to her and Barker's Italian nuptial looks.
"This was definitely not about a brand. It was about my wedding," Kardashian expressed in a confessional. "I didn't feel truly supported."
She added, "I think for my survival, I need my own identity and I need my own life. I really love having my own separation."
Granted filming happened months ago, but many believe the sisters on still on rocky terms after fans think Kardashian threw shade against Kim earlier this week. On Thursday, Kardashian posted her driver's license photo on Instagram displaying her new hyphenated last name.
While it may seem nothing more than a random post, many were quick to point out how the post came after a recent episode of The Kardashians aired that was centered around Kim taking her full glam squad to the DMV for the perfect driver's license photo.
"I really just want it to look good. Like, why not bring a light and a glam team? It's definitely crazy, but I don’t care," Kim says in a confessional.
