In 2004 Shayk won a Miss Chelyabinsk beauty contest in her native country of Russia

Irina has known Kanye for many years. The model appeared in the music video for the rapper's song &ldquo;Power,&rdquo; which released in 2010. That same year West mentioned Shayk in &ldquo;Christian Dior Denim Flow&rdquo;: &ldquo;I wanna see Irina Shayk next to Doutzen.&rdquo;

At just 6 years old, Shayk started playing the piano, at 9 she enrolled in a music school, where she studied for 7 years. Hermother is a kindergarten music teacher.

In 2014 the model played the role of Megara in the feature Hercules.

Her father died of pneumonia while Irina was just 14, so Shayk grew up alongside her mother and sister.
