Kim Kardashian Breaks Down Over Kanye West Divorce in 'Keeping Up' Finale
The new episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians shed some light on the reality star's relationship.
It's the beginning of the end. Last night marked the first half of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians series finale and viewers got an inside look at Kim Kardashian's relationship with her husband Kanye West. During a family trip to Lake Tahoe for the Christmas holidays, the rapper was noticeably absent, which the KKW Beauty mogul's sister Khloé explains was due to a fight between the couple prior to leaving.
"Kim has been struggling privately behind camera about her relationship and it’s tough because Kim is clearly redirecting so much of her frustration and sadness and anger,” the Good American founder explains in a confessional.
Upon their arrival at the family's getaway spot, Kim lashed out over a tray of cookies, which her sister attributed to her personal struggles. Khloé continues, "Sometimes you just take things out on something that has nothing to do with what you’re going through. It’s not the cookies’ fault.”
When Khloé probes her big sister on the status of her relationship, Kim replies, "There’s no fighting, like, now. It’s all calm so I just roll with it."
The couple began divorce proceedings earlier this year after the show finished filming. It was revealed that the two had been living separately for most of the previous year, with West staying at his home in Wyoming and Kim remaining in Los Angeles.
“I honestly can’t do this anymore,” the Skims mogul cries to her sisters Kourtney, Kylie, and Kendall in a flashback. “Why am I still in this like, place where I’m stuck for years? Like, he goes and moves to a different state, every year, I have to be together so I can raise the kids, you know? And he’s an amazing dad, he’s done an amazing job."
She continues, "I feel like a fucking failure, that it’s like, a third fucking marriage,” Kim added. “Yeah, I feel like a fucking loser. But I can’t even think about that like, I want to be happy.”
