Gigi Hadid Goes Back to Work after Giving Birth to Baby Girl
Less than three months after the birth of her first child, new mom Gigi Hadid is back to her day job. The supermodel posted an Instagram story on Thursday to announce her return to modeling. "Back in the office," the 25-year old wrote. "Would say back 2 work but bein a mamma is a job like no otherrrr."
While Hadid didn't give away any details of her new project, it seems as though fans can cross a mother-daughter photoshoot off the list. Around the same time as the post, her mother and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid shared a photo holding her only grandchild. She captioned the snap, "We spent the day while Mamma was away."
In April of this year, Gigi announced that was she expecting her first child with her longtime boyfriend Zayn Malik on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She spent the duration of her pregnancy on the family's Pennsylvania farm, before giving birth in September to a baby girl. The family has yet to share the name of the child for privacy reasons.
Since the birth, the family has shared a number of photos to celebrate their newfound parenthood. In early November, the model shared a photo of herself, Malik, and their daughter in their Halloween costumes. Earlier this week, Gigi shared some never-before-seen snaps from her pregnancy on Instagram. In the pictures, she poses in a ribbed bodycon dress, while Malik looks affectionately at her baby bump.
