With over 2,000 homes destroyed and hundreds of thousands of residents displaced, leading fashion and beauty brands are using social media to share vital resources and aid for those impacted by the L.A. wildfires.
The Los Angeles area is facing one of its most destructive wildfires in history, with multiple fires breaking out throughout the Pacific Palisades and the Hollywood Hills. An estimated 45 square miles are in flames, as of Thursday morning. Over 2,000 homes have burned to the ground, displacing residents, according to L.A. Times reporting, mainly from middle-class and affluent neighborhoods alike. Celebrities like Leighton Meester, Adam Brody, Paris Hilton, Jeff Bridges and Jamie Lee Curtis have lost their homes to the Palisades Fire's relentless flames, which have yet to be contained.
As the fires continue to spread, over 100,000 residents have been ordered to evacuate, leaving many with great uncertainty. As efforts to contain the fires continue, others are doing what they can to support those affected.
