Dominic Fike and Hunter Schafer Have Broken Up
After dating for more than a year, Dominic Fike and Hunter Schafer's romance has come to an end.

During an Apple Music interview with Zane Lowe, Fike confirmed the status of their relationship, saying "he's just done being in relationships right now."
When speaking about how he views love as needing someone, he said, "That has actually bled into my romantic relationships, that kind of dynamic. And it is often the cause of the end of my relationship."
Schafer and Fike first began dating in 2022, going Instagram official when Fike posted a photo of the two kissing as a "Happy Birthday" post for Schafer. The two first met on the set of Euphoria, as Fike officially joined the cast in Season 2. Ironically enough, Fike and Schafer's character had somewhat of a (brief) romantic connection.
That said, it was not surprising when the two took their on-screen romance off-screen, as there were many speculated relationship rumors between the two weeks before going Instagram official.
In May 2022, during an interview with GQ, Fike stated that he was "very much in love" after "developing an attraction [that] sped up so fast."
Though they are now broken up, Fike doubled down that it was a positive relationship, and that it ended because he had to learn how to be comfortable being alone.
"I could make music around her, which was crazy," he said in the interview. "I was looking through songs the other day and found one that I made with her. I was like, ‘Man, that was so cool.’ But the fact of me saying that — of being uncomfortable being alone — that’s a bad thing. So, I decided to just be alone for a while."
With Euphoria Season 3 in the works, this begs the question of if the two stars will be able to work together following their split. According to Fike, there should be "fine" as "we're all adults kind of."
Schafer has not commented about the breakup.
