Alix Earle Makes Red Carpet Debut With Boyfriend Braxton Berrios
Alix Earle stunned on the 2023 Espy Awards red carpet debuting her new boyfriend Braxton Berrios.
Alix Earle is no longer in her single era. At the 2023 Espys, Earle made her red carpet debut with her new boyfriend Braxton Berrios. On the Espys red carpet, Earle stunned in a strapless leather dress by Zeynep Arcay and strappy Steve Madden heels, finalized with silver Aureum earrings, a nude lip, and a high ponytail. Berrios opted for a pastel suit, white button-down, and white sneakers.
Dating rumors about the couple sparked earlier this year in May when they were spotted hanging out together in Miami. The speculation was more or less confirmed after Earle posted a TikTok video in June of herself hugging and kissing Berrios in her bedroom, though his face could not be seen. While fans took that as a hard launch of their relationship, she responded in the comments, “We’re not even ‘dating’ but just hard for me to not share stuff w u guys hahahaha."
Now having confirmation of their relationship, this then leaves the question of who is Berrios. The 27-year-old is an NFL wide receiver playing for the Miami Dolphins. Previously, he was in a relationship with internet personality and reality star Sophia Culpo, before breaking up in March after two years of dating.
Their breakup was surrounded by a bit of controversy after Culpo accused Berrios of cheating ahead of their breakup. In April, Culpo did an Instagram Q&A where she briefly addressed their split once asked about it.
"I haven’t addressed [the breakup] because it’s been really hard to come to terms with and process. I’ll say that it didn’t end well or honestly," Culpo wrote. "A lot of trust was broken. But I have an amazing support system and I appreciate everyone’s love & support so, so much. This community never fails to amaze me."
She continued with a video, saying, "I wasn’t able to talk about this when it first happened. I still don’t really have words. I’m not really one to air out a bunch of dirty details. But I do know that I shared my relationship with you guys so it makes sense that there are questions about why this person is no longer in my life. I know that I’ve lost a lot of weight. It’s not intentional. The betrayal in my last relationship just really took a toll on me, but I have the most amazing support system."
"Not bitter, in fact I know the situation has been one of my biggest blessings," Culpo posted in the caption of a now-deleted TikTok video in June. "I wish everyone in this situation all the best, including myself, which is why I'm here to share the truth so I can finally be done with all of this."
As for Berrios, in late June he took to his Instagram story denying all cheating allegations.
"I don’t want to start anything. I don’t want to fuel anything. I genuinely want all of this to be over and everybody to move on and do whatever makes them happy," he said. "I was in a relationship for two years. It was a good relationship, it was a healthy one. And towards the end of it, we had conversations along the lines of we just weren’t working out. So when we split back in January, that’s why."
He continued, expressing that their breakup "had nothing to do with anybody else."
Earle also had a prior relationship, dating former Yankees baseball player Tyler Wade. The two briefly dated for around three months before letting their romance fizzle out, as Earle said "she was not happy with the way [she] was feeling" and "he wouldn't post her [on socials]," per a TikTok video she did in December 2022.
