Give Me A Minute&nbsp;to break down who she is.&nbsp;

At just 22 years old, Lizzy McAlpine is already making strides in the music industry. With over 337,000 <a href="https://www.instagram.com/lizzymcalpine/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Instagram</a> followers, 434,000 <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/dylan-obrien-viral-moments-all-too-well-tiktok-blonde-hair-not-okay-doja-cat" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TikTok</a> followers, and over 3.4 million monthly Spotify listeners, the musician has already begun releasing her own albums and collaborating with well-known names in the music industry.&nbsp;
The Philadelphia native began writing <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/celebrity-couple-music-video-cameos-jlo-ben-affleck-travis-scott-kylie-jenner" target="_blank" rel="noopener">music </a>at the age of <a href="https://earmilk.com/2022/04/08/get-to-know-lizzy-mcalpine-interview/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">12.</a> Wanting to pursue music in college, the singer attended Berklee College of Music for two years, before deciding to <a href="https://www.spin.com/2022/05/lizzy-mcalpine-give-me-a-minute-interview/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">drop out.</a>&nbsp;
Her debut studio album, Give Me a Minute was released on in August of 2020, which she described on her <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CD1CTSRp-YI/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Instagram</a> as "simultaneously the worst AND best year of my life. but pain creates beauty, and this album was born out of that pain." While she got to pursue her passion&mdash;music&mdash; she <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/B9u2emhpiMy/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">shared</a> with her fans that she sadly lost her father in March of that year.&nbsp;

McAlpine has also been featured on various popular <a href="https://earmilk.com/2022/04/08/get-to-know-lizzy-mcalpine-interview/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">talk shows.</a> At the end of 2021, she <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGBz32Rq3r8" target="_blank" rel="noopener">performed</a> one of her hits, "Erase Me" on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. At the beginning of 2022, and before The Ellen DeGeneres Show&nbsp;ended later that year, McAlpine <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmqEyLiLEl0" target="_blank" rel="noopener">debuted</a> her song "All My Ghosts," which would be on her second album's tracklist.&nbsp;
Luckily, fans only had to wait a few months for her to release her second album Five Seconds Flat. Notable among the guest artists was Grammy-award-winner <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/finneas-music-memories-new-album-optimist-video" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Finneas O&rsquo;Connell</a> on the track "hate to be lame." And later that same month, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/who-is-finneas-oconnell-everything-you-need-to-know-about-billie-eilish-brother" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Finneas</a> invited McAlpine to perform on stage with her at <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CcmaaqvLONs/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Coachella</a>.&nbsp;
Other famous fans? According to an interview in <a href="https://www.spin.com/2022/05/lizzy-mcalpine-give-me-a-minute-interview/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Spin</a>, McAlpine said musician <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/phoebe-bridgers-haley-dahl-sloppy-jane-interview" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Phoebe Bridgers</a> is also a fan. "She slid into my DMs like a month after the first record came out and was like &lsquo;I love the record, I&rsquo;m a big fan.&rsquo; And I was like what is happening? It was really wild."
And recently, McAlpine got to work with <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/jessica-simpson-drama-tabloids-john-mayer-scandal-young-2000s" target="_blank" rel="noopener">John Mayer</a> (yes, the famous singer), as they were both featured on Jacob Collier's <a href="https://www.instagram.com/tv/CeooHOuAqEQ/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY=" target="_blank" rel="noopener">track</a> "Never Gonna Be Alone."&nbsp;

Aside from all of her success, she's also highly relatable.
