Jennifer Lopez and Shakira announced today that they will be headlining the Super Bowl Halftime show in 2020. Two of the world's biggest Latina pop stars will be joining forces in Florida for the first time together, and for what I can only assume will be the performance of a lifetime. Jay-Z's Roc Nation will be co-producing the show.

Each of them seemingly confirmed the news on Twitter, with J.Lo tweeting, "This is happening. 02.20.2020" alongside a Pepsi-sponsored picture of Shakira. Shakira tweeted, "Get ready 🌎02.20.2020" with a picture of Lopez wearing a Pepsi ring and belt.

This announcement comes right on the heels of J.Lo's closing of the Versace show at Milan Fashion Week last Friday wearing an updated version of her iconic 2000 Grammys dress, which sparked the creation of Google Image Search.

After finishing up her El Dorado World Tour late last year, Shakira will be releasing her movie about the tour on November 13.

With two icons coming together, it's definitely going to be major. I have no doubt that they will be the Super Bowl champions.
