The pop musician’s ode to self-love now has a dreamy music video accompagnement.

For CYN, the rising pop musician and Katy Perry protegée, nailing the dainty, minimalist melding of R&B and Pop has always come easily, even when translated that to visuals. She’s released the music video for her latest single, “I’ll Still Have Me,” and it’s every bit as sentimental and bittersweet as the title would suggest.

The video takes place in the multi-purpose room of a retirement home, where senior couples slow-dance to CYN’s trance-like melodies. And as a senior woman enters the dance floor solo, enjoying herself the way the other audience members enjoy each other, the singer drives home the point of her ode to self-love. “After realizing a break up was imminent, I wrote this song to convince myself that everything would be fine,” she explained in a statement. “Focusing on who I am and where I’m headed made me feel less empty and more like I would make it through this heartbreak— finding sanctuary in myself was my safest bet and sturdiest lean upon.”

In addition to the release of the video, CYN also revealed she will be hitting the road, joining Years & Years on their North American Palo Santo Tour, which kicks off on October 5 in Toronto.
