Actor Jamie Dornan is Loewe’s New Global Brand Ambassador
The Belfast actor is featured in the brand’s upcoming Spring/Summer 2024 men’s campaign.
Looks like Loewe has a brand new Global Brand Ambassador, and it’s none other than Irish actor Jamie Dornan. The 41-year-old actor is no new face to Loewe, having been in a few of the luxury brand’s campaigns to date. For Loewe’s upcoming Spring/Summer 2024 Men’s campaign to be released on January 12, the Golden Globe-nominated actor has been lensed by British photographer David Sims.
Regarding Dornan’s new ambassadorship, Loewe’s Creative Director Jonathan Anderson says, “Having watched many of Jamie’s films and following his work closely, he was front of mind when we were thinking about a new ambassador for Loewe. I’ve always liked how his performances embody a sense of strength that feels very pure and organic.” Anderson has been with Loewe since 2013, embracing the brand’s eye for storytelling in a whimsical and playful fashion, while prioritising craft and culture at its heart.
On his appointment as Global Brand Ambassador, the actor, whose breakout role was in the crime series The Fall as serial killer Paul Spector, muses, “Nothing puts you at ease like being around people who understand your humor, your accent, and your ethos. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Jonathan – he’s supremely talented, creative, and incredibly down-to-earth. I’m very grateful and excited for this new role with Loewe.”
Aside from The Fall, Dornan is also recognized for his portrayal of Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy, as well as his supporting role in the coming-of-age film Belfast as Pa, which earned him a Golden Globe nomination.
