The indulgent beach read, which was released in 2018, received glowing editorial reviews and was wildly popular among mystery lovers, propelling it onto the coveted New York Times bestseller list.&nbsp;
Now, the sizzling, nail-biting book is hitting the big screen. The glossy miniseries, which contains six episodes, will premiere exclusively on <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/everything-to-know-about-bridgerton-season-4-cast-plot-trailer-release">Netflix</a> and will be executive produced by Kidman, along with showrunner Jenna Lamia, 21 Laps Entertainment founder Shawn Levy, Gail Berman, Hend Baghdady, Per Saari, Josh Barry, and Hilderbrand. Oscar-nominated Danish filmmaker Susanne Bier will direct and executive produce the entire show.&nbsp;

The show explores the dark and inscrutable events that took place during a highly anticipated wedding set at a picturesque estate on a <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/travel-living/nantucket-travel-guide-restaurants-hotels-what-to-do">Nantucket</a> beach. Kidman plays the groom&rsquo;s wealthy novelist and devoted mother, Greer Garrison Winbury, who has poured every penny into ensuring the wedding is an opulent spectacle for the ages. In a shocking turn of events, a body washes up in the harbor moments before the bride and groom are supposed to say their &ldquo;I dos.&rdquo; As the police interrogate the guests, thrilling family secrets are uncovered, and the seemingly flawless couple has skeletons crowding their closet.&nbsp;

Aside from Kidman, The Perfect Couple contains a star-studded cast. X-Men Origins: Wolverine actor Liev Schreiber plays Kidman&rsquo;s ostensibly ever-adoring husband, Tag Winbury. Other notable actors in the miniseries include Once Upon a Time in Hollywood&rsquo;s <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/dakota-fanning-young-actress-style-evolution">Dakota Fanning</a>, who portrays the sister-in-law Abby Winbury, as well as Eve Hewson, who plays the bride Amelia Sacks and Billy Howle, who plays the groom Benji Winbury.&nbsp;
