Nothing says reality TV quite like the Kardashians. After the cancellation of the family's hit E! show in late 2020, fans were delighted to hear Hulu would be continuing to follow the media darlings on their new show The Kardashians. And in case you haven't heard, they're coming back for round two. Hulu recently announced the show's second season with a brand new trailer giving fans a sneak peek into what viewers can hope to expect.

In a word? Season 2 is drama. While following the typical ins and outs of the Kardashian lifestyle, the show dives into all the latest family happenings. Certainly, we're excited to see the behind-the-scenes footage from Kourtney and Travis Barker's dream Italian wedding. In a recent interview with Deadline's Crew Call podcast, the newlywed teased, "It's gonna be amazing, that much I know. Everyone's gonna want to tune in."

And despite claims that the new season would dive into Kim's illusive relationship with Saturday Night Live star, Pete Davidson, it seems that things are still in limbo. Although the couple officially called it quits just this past month, with rumors of engagement and parenthood still circulating, it's the first time the duo would supposedly give a glimpse into their intimate yet public relationship. The show's producer even explained Davidson's relationship with the show adding, "He’s legitimately a part of Kim’s life, and so for those bigger moments—like when they went to the Met Ball—Pete was with her. He’s not like, 'Get the cameras away from me.' He joins in."

While fans got excited at claims that the comedian would be included more throughout the second season, Page Six reports that he's actually "barely in the show." And even though he was spotted in the trailer, that might actually be the only Pete content we get for the whole season. “He’s in the background, but the reality world is not built for people like Pete,” a source told the outlet.

Yet despite these two plotlines, the season two trailer teases the biggest events throughout the Kardashian circle. Between Kylie's second pregnancy, Kendall's return to the runway, Kris's health scare, and a legal battle with Blac Chyna, there's no shortage of headline-dominating moments. The new season is expected to release on September 22, and we for one, can't wait.
