Considered a sex symbol of the decade, she is notably among the ranks of other Bond girls such as Halle Berry, Jane Seymour, and Rosamund Pike as a result of her role as Stacey Sutton in the James Bond film A View to Kill.

In later years, many knew Roberts for her character Midge Pinciotti, the mother of Donna (Laura Prepon) in That '70s Show alongside Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis.
