The new film takes a look at the darker side of the comic franchise, one that lovers of the comics have felt has been missing from the cinematic world. Morbius is directed by Daniele Espinosa. Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, and Tyrese Gibson star alongside Leto in the highly anticipated film.

In the first trailer for the project, fans noticed a brief appearance from actor Michael Keaton as his character Vulture from Spider-Man: Homecoming. While it has been confirmed that Morbius will be a part of Sony's Spider-Man Universe, it's unclear whether the character will also crossover with other Marvel Cinematic Universe franchises.

After a series of successful box office hits, including the latest Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans have high hopes for what Morbius will bring.
