Expected to release on January 28, 2022, Columbia Pictures’ Morbius sees Jared Leto take on the role of the equally complex and intriguing Dr. Michael Morbius as he deals with the aftermath of an experimental treatment gone horribly wrong.
With a number of emotionally captivating films under his belt, the House of Gucci and Suicide Squad alum is seemingly perfect for his new role.
Suffering from a debilitating blood disease, Dr. Morbius must decide whether to pursue good or evil in his vampire-like circumstances.
The newest film within Sony’s Cinematic Universe, Morbius hints at a number of potential crossovers with sister films such as Tom Holland’s beloved Spider-Man, and Tom Hardy’s Venom.
Under the direction of Daniel Espinosa and a screenplay by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama, the film, which still remains somewhat of a mystery, is set to be both star-studded and visually stunning.
