The trailer for Netflix's new film 'Malcolm & Marie' shows a sizzling Zendaya alongside John David Washington.

Filmed in black and white and directed by <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/euphoria-season-2-zendaya-news-release-date-cast" target="_blank">Euphoria</a>&rsquo;s Sam Levinson,&nbsp;Malcom &amp; Marie&nbsp;is predicted to make waves on its February 5th release on Netflix. Starring <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/zendaya-vintage-versace-green-carpet-fashion-awards-law-roach-kate-moss" target="_blank">Zendaya</a> and son of Denzel Washington,&nbsp;John David Washington (Tenet, Blakkklansman), Malcolm &amp; Marie follows a filmmaker and his girlfriend after celebrating the premiere of his latest movie. This excitement evidently mixes with conflict as the couple faces growing tensions. The entirety of the film takes place in one location which alludes to the intimate nature of the subject matter. The new trailer shows the couple in moments of passion and strife while warning us that Malcolm &amp; Marie is not a love story, it is &ldquo;the story of love.&rdquo;&nbsp;

The film, which was acquired by Netflix during the <a href="https://www.vulture.com/2020/09/netflix-spent-big-at-the-toronto-international-film-festival.html" target="_blank">Toronto Film Festival</a>, was produced during the COVID-19 lockdown this past spring. Zendaya, who simultaneously worked on Euphoria&#39;s&nbsp;<a href="https://www.vulture.com/article/zendaya-euphoria-special-christmas-episode-performance.html" target="_blank">Christmas special</a>,&nbsp;has kept busy during this uncertain time. With one Emmy under her belt, we can only expect another stellar performance.&nbsp;
