Viola Davis at 2023 Grammys

Award Season is off to a good start with the 2023 Grammy Awards. While many of your favorite singers and actors celebrated their first big wins, others added their new awards to a growing collection of honors.

When an artist wins the top four American entertainment awards, it's called an EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) or GATE (Grammy, Academy, Tony, Emmy). Each ceremony honors the achievements of the stars in film, television, music, and theater. This year, Viola Davis entered this list of incredible artists when she won the Grammy for an Audiobook Narration of her memoir, Finding Me. To start off the season, L'OFFICIEL looks back on eight female celebrities who shone in their performances over the years and managed to win the four big prizes.
