Anya Taylor-Joy became a household name by playing chess prodigy Beth Harmon in Netflix’s 2020 show The Queen’s Gambit. The former L'OFFICIEL cover star was named one of Time's most influential people in 2021 and received many accolades, including a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award. But the American-born Argentine-British actress began capturing the attention of audiences and Hollywood years before her Netflix debut.
