The new Tiffany &amp; Co. pieces were inspired by Poseidon, the mythical ruler of the sea.

The iconic Tiffany &amp; Co. pearls have long been a symbol of elegance and class, gracing the necks of stylish individuals for centuries. From 1862 when Abraham Lincoln gifted his wife Mary Todd Lincoln a seed-pearl suite for the inaugural presidential ball to the Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird capsule collection featuring rare freshwater pearls, the gem has long been synonymous with the brand. Now, Tiffany is bringing its iconic pearls to the Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams collection, a collaboration with the designer and musician that originally launched in May.
The high-luster 11 mm pearls included in the collection are in juxtaposition with the diamond spear motif, which has been central to Williams&rsquo; collaboration with the brand since the launch of Tiffany Titan. The new collection includes necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings that appeal to bold individuals who want to take a new spin on a timeless classic like the pearl necklace.&nbsp;

In a press release, Williams said he was drawn to the diamond spear motif for its symbolism of fearless individuality and its aquatic nature, which is key as the Titan collection is inspired by Poseidon the king of Atlantis. &ldquo;Atlantis&rdquo; is also the name of the community where Pharell Williams grew up in Virginia Beach, driving home how Tiffany Titan is emblematic of his roots. Freshwater pearls are a perfect addition to a collection inspired by the beauty and the power of water. Tastefully interlaced with the pearls are gorgeous diamonds and striking spike rondelles of 18k gold, as the statement necklace and bracelet both feature 1 and 2 full carats of diamonds and gold spikes.&nbsp;

The freshwater pearl editions to the Tiffany Titan collection will be available in Tiffany &amp; Co. stores globally this September.
