Robert Pattinson's Style Evolution
From Twilight to Tenet, look back at the actor's many fashion choices over the course of his career.
Since his film debut in 2005 as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Robert Pattinson has captured the hearts of many with his on-screen talent as well as his charming looks. 16 years later and already one of the most well-known actors around the world, his star power only continues to rise.
In 2008, audiences everywhere were enchanted by the sharp cheekbones and icy gaze of his Twilight character, the brooding vampire Edward Cullen. The film's success, propelled by its devoted fan base, threw the young actor and his co-star/ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart directly into the spotlight. The series prompted the ever-present Team Edward vs Team Jacob debate that abounded pop culture for much of the late-2000s and early-2010s.
After the film series wrapped, Pattinson went on to star in several independent films and take more interesting and complex roles, many of which earned him significant critical praise. Pattinson's performance in the black-and-white psychological horror film The Lighthouse was particularly well-received and earned him an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Male Lead. In his most recent project, released on March 2, 2022, he took on the role of young Bruce Wayne in The Batman, a prequel to the Batman film series, which also starred Zoë Kravitz.
Outside of acting, Pattinson is also the face of Dior Men Fragrance. While he has maintained a relationship with the Maison since 2013, he developed a strong connection with designer Kim Jones during his time as Creative Director of Dior Men. In 2018, the Good Time actor presented Jones with the Fashion Trailblazer Award at the British Council of Fashion's annual Fashion Awards.
