Harry Styles is more than just a global music sensation—he’s a fashion icon who has redefined menswear over the past decade. From his early days in fitted jeans with suede boots to his fearless embrace of gender-fluid fashion, Styles has continuously pushed boundaries, proving that personal style is an art form.

He's a risk-taker when it comes to fashion, but was he always like this? At the beginning of his career, when all we knew about him (and 1D) were the lyrics to "What's Makes You Beautiful," Styles was just a normal 16-year-old who loved chunky sneakers and a comfy tracksuit, perfectly fitting the teen-crush idea that everyone had of him. As his career took off and as he got adjusted to growing up in the spotlight, he began diving into the fashion universe, experimenting with different looks and aesthetics until he finally found his true personal self through fashion (is it fair to talk about soulmates when it comes to style?)

His bold sartorial choices, from feather boas to custom Gucci gowns, have cemented him as a trailblazer in the industry. With close ties to some of fashion’s most influential designers, including Alessandro Michele and Jonathan Anderson, Styles has seamlessly blended music and fashion, turning every red carpet, stage appearance, and street-style moment into a statement.

In honor of our favorite popstar's 31st birthday and (hopefully) a new album on the way soon, L'OFFICIEL brings you on a journey through Styles' wardrobe (and hairstyle) evolution.
