Who Will Play Prince Charles in the New Princess Diana Movie?
The film, "Spencer," follows the royal couple over a fateful weekend in 1991.
With the upcoming movie Spencer already drawing excitement, the production has announced who will be playing Prince Charles in the Princess Diana biopic. Kristen Stewart, who will play Diana, will be paired with actor Jack Farthing as heir to the British throne. Farthing, 35, is an English actor known for playing Freddie Threepwood in Blandings and the villain George Warleggan in the BBC One drama series Poldark. He also appeared as George Balfour in The Riot Club and Marc Fisher in the Netflix romantic comedy, Love Wedding Repeat. The movie will also feature Sean Harris, Timothy Spall, and Sally Hawkins.
The film, due to be released in 2021, takes place over a weekend in December 1991, when Princess Diana joins the royal family at Christmas at Sandringham Estate, and decides to end her already failed and fraught marriage to Prince Charles.
