After the past year, everyone is looking to get away, whether that is physically into the great outdoors or a purely mental trip. Either way, Monse Maison's latest collection will provide the appropriate attire.

Monse's spring clothing, designed by duo Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, is a rotation of elevated outdoor pieces. Sweatpants and cargo shorts, combat boots and sweaters clung to the models who walked the rainy runway last Thursday. Monse debuted the collection at a Manhattan skate park, an ode to the designers' favorite athletic pastime.

The season's principal "Climing High" print shows an assortment of wildflowers, alpine climbers, and psychadelic mushrooms. It adornes scarf dresses and breezy tops. In this collection, the rugged outdors is juxtaposed against a dreamy state of mind, the two hallmarks of escapism.

True to this year's trends, the clothes also feature crocheted patterns and irregular cutouts. Sure to shop up on your Instagram explore page are the needlepoint patterned sweaters and trenchcoats with rope detailing. Check out exclusive photos of the show here:
