Eminem Is Now a Grandfather. Meet His Daughter's First Baby
Slim Grandpa? Eminem has entered a whole new era of fatherhood—this time, as a grandfather.
Hailie Jade Scott, 29, the only biological daughter of the Grammy-winning rapper, recently announced the birth of her first child with husband Evan McClintock. The couple welcomed a baby boy, Elliot Marshall McClintock, on March 14, 2025—marking the start of a new generation in the Mathers family.
Scott shared the joyful news via Instagram on Friday, posting an adorable photo of baby Elliot dressed in a soft blue sweater, nestled in front of a wooden name sign revealing his full name and birthdate. Fans quickly noted the sweet tribute in the baby’s middle name—Marshall—an homage to his iconic grandfather.
“Happy due date // 3 weeks earthside little e 🤍,” she captioned the post, keeping things short and sweet while giving followers their first peek at the new arrival.
Scott and McClintock shared some special moments leading up to Elliot’s birth. In an October 2024 episode of her podcast Just a Little Shady, the couple teased glimpses of the baby’s nursery and later revealed the baby’s gender with a balloon-popping moment that rained down blue confetti.
Eminem also seemed to embrace the upcoming role with open arms. In a music video released last October for his song "Temporary," the rapper included a touching compilation of home videos of Hailie growing up. The emotional highlight came at the end, when Scott handed her dad a baby sonogram and a custom football jersey labeled “Grandpa” with the number 1 on the back.
Now, over two decades later, it seems the man once known for his gritty lyrics and raw anger has entered his softest chapter yet: Grandpa Marshall.
