Léa Seydoux Fronts Campaign for New Louis Vuitton Capucines Bag

The French actress continues her relationship with the fashion house as the ambassador for the 2021 Capucines bag.

Louis Vuitton unveils their new Capucines 2021 leather goods campaign with a series of sultry photographs of French actress and House ambassador Léa Seydoux. In the Marilyn Monroe-inspired photoshoot, world-renowned photographer Steven Meisel captures the actress' unfettered beauty as she highlights the brand's new Capucines MM bag. The brand's longtime global ambassador poses in bed, covered by her sheet, with her chic purse not far away, illustrating the intimacy between a woman and her handbag.

"The Capucines represents the essence of French savoir-faire. I’m very honored to be the Capucines ambassador as it’s a handbag I love and wear all the time,” says Seydoux.

The bag gets its name from Rue Neuve-des-Capucines, the street address of Louis Vuitton's first store which he opened in 1854. The Capucines bag itself exemplifies the House's emphasis on creative craftsmanship and unbridled elegance.
