Donatella Versace and Lady Gaga have been good friends for years and can regularly be seen together on the red carpet of various events. Gaga is also often seen in one of her designs (such as her Super Bowl appearance in 2017) and even sang about the designer on her fourth album with the song "Donatella." Now, the fashion house and the superstar are launching a special collection together, which is completely devoted to Pride Month and the tenth anniversary of her album Born This Way. Proceeds from their collection will go to Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation, a charitable foundation dedicated to the mental health of young people, especially LGBTQ+ youth.

The limited-edition capsule collection includes a t-shirt and matching beret, featuring rainbow colors and the fashion house's iconic Medusa logo. The items are available online now.

Also up for auction is a replica of Lady Gaga's leather Versace jacket she wore on her Born This Way Ball tour. The Versace team spent 400 hours crafting a new version by hand. "Our friendship and will to increase equality, diversity, and inclusion only grows stronger over the years," Donatella said about the collaboration.

Gaga, in turn, wrote in the caption of an Instagram post, "Versace has always been a leader. Since Gianni, Donatella, Allegra, and still are today, they celebrate the beautiful colors of love we have within us to offer each other. All different, and different is beautiful. Thank you Donatella for supporting LGBTQ+ mental health and the Born This Way tenth anniversary."
