Keira Knightley Remembers Wardrobe Malfunction That Almost Left Her Completely Naked

We've all had our fair share of wardrobe malfunctions, from straps breaking to seams ripping. However, a fashion mishap caught on camera can be devasting, as many celebrities know all too well. Recently, Keira Knightley shared a story about a close call she had with a dress that almost left her completely nude in front of the paparazzi on the red carpet.

In an interview with People magazine, the British actress said that the problem with her look happened while preparing for the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) in 2005, where she won the Variety Award. For that occasion, she opted for a tight white bandage dress signed by the Hervé Léger brand.

The star revealed that when he left the apartment door where he was, the piece began coming apart at the seams from the bottom to the top, leaving a good part of the body on display. "It was just full-on naked body. So it was a real moment of going, 'I think that dress was a bit too small,'" she said. Luckily, two of these dresses were delivered, and since she hadn't left yet, she wasn't seen, but imagine if the dress had ripped right on the red carpet?

"It could have happened anytime that night and I was incredibly lucky that it happened when it happened," Keira said.
